Legal Aid & Pro Bono Assistance

Can't afford an advocate? Answer a few questions and we'll tell you what assistance you qualify for β€” a free pro bono advocate, a National Legal Aid Service referral, or a reduced-fee route. Everyone gets a next step; nobody leaves with nothing.

How this works

  1. Tell us about your situation and household income β€” this takes about two minutes.
  2. We run a transparent means test and show you exactly why you qualify (or don't).
  3. If you qualify for the pro bono panel, we match you with an advocate in your county immediately. Otherwise you're routed to NLAS or a reduced-fee option.

Some matters are always prioritised

Criminal defence, child custody, gender-based violence, constitutional & human rights, and succession matters are routed on the merits regardless of income, because proceeding unrepresented carries severe consequences.
